Microsoft continually works to bring the best features to all devices, from Windows to Mac.
We can see this effort in Microsoft’s recent release of new functionality in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive on iOS… these new releases will make iPad and iPhone users more productive!

Now, using real-time co-authoring, Mac users can collaborate, view and edit documents simultaneously in the iOS apps for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. They now have the ability to see who else is working on a document, see where they’re working, and view changes automatically within seconds!
As mentioned in our Office 365 Co-Authoring blog, there are many benefits of this feature! Try it out for yourself, on Office Online and the latest versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint on the PC and Mac, which is all made possible by storing your documents in OneDrive or SharePoint.

Another new iOS feature is with drag and drop in Office and OneDrive. Now you can easily pull in content, including text, photos and graphs, from various sources on your iPad. This means creating a presentation on your iOS devices quickly and effectively!

A third announcement from Microsoft on improvements for iOS, is that of native support for the Files app in iOS 11!
This integration with the Files app, allows you to access, upload, edit, and save your content to OneDrive or SharePoint from apps that support Files app integration. As well as the capability to tag and favorite your OneDrive and SharePoint files from within the Files app!
