Microsoft Planner just keeps getting better!

In our December Planner Updates post, we had mentioned Planner’s new Schedule view. Covering how the schedule view supports drag-and-drop, enabling you to quickly add tasks and manage the start/due dates.

Microsoft has now developed Planner even further and announced more enhancements for Office 365 users!

Such as an update to the Group and Filter options, which “give you deeper insights into your tasks to help you meet key deadlines.” This feature gives you deeper insights into your tasks.
For example, Group the tasks by Progress to see which tasks are still being worked on or Filter the tasks by Due this week, to see which needs prioritising.

New due date email notifications summarising tasks due in the coming week, enabling you to become more organised with your tasks.

Microsoft also announced another feature which will be released soon… a new iCalendar format feed! This will enable you to publish Planner tasks to your Outlook calendar!
